Southside Christian School Selects Enrollment Catalyst

Last summer, Dr. Sam Barfell moved to South Carolina to become the Superintendent at Southside Christian School. Dr. Barfell previously served as the Vice President for Professional Development at the Association of Christian School’s International (ACSI).

Southside Christian School is located in Simpsonville, SC (just outside of Greenville), and enrolls just over 1,000 students to make it one of the largest ACSI schools in the nation.

During the week of January 25, Dr. Rick Newberry conducted a site visit to hold focus group meetings with parents, faculty, staff and the school’s leadership. The school’s leadership, including Tommy Blackmon, Director of Advancement, and Diana Bolding, Advancement Assistant, will be working with Rick in his Enrollment Catalyst Program. The goal of the program is to help the team implement an enrollment and marketing plan to move the school forward in achieving its goals.

Ironically, Both Rick and Sam graduated from the same university–Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI.
